Flu Season is Back! Should you get the shot?
Can you guess how many flu cases we can prevent with 5% more vaccinations?
This blog is for people who know they should do "healthy stuff," but aren't sure what, why, or how.
The CDC states that nearly half of US adults have a chronic health condition, and that 7 of the top 10 causes of death are chronic diseases [1]. The Milken Institute projects that with better wellness choices regarding nutrition, exercise, and tobacco, the US can avoid 40 million cases of chronic disease in 2023 [2].
This blog is based on an email series I wrote for my public health colleagues. It talks about how your choices reduce your risk of chronic disease. If you find it useful, please subscribe and share!
Thanks,
Reggie
Workplace Wellness Wednesday is an awareness bulletin to help you make healthy lifestyle choices more often. It is not a substitute for your healthcare provider.
